Chiropractic was originated in U.S.A and has been developed in the world, which is natural medical science not applying any medicines. Chiropractic investigates deeply basic reasons why a person becomes sick and was sick, and how a person avoids sick, then, Chiropractic is the preventive medicine applying maximum natural healing power which a person is possessed essentially. 
Chiropractic is therapeutical method based upon Chiropractic theory, which relates to the structure and function of human body, specially back bone and nervous system and correlates with health and disease. 
Chiropractic has 105 years history since it was found by D.D. Parmer, American in 1895. Chiro means"hand" and Practic means "skill" in Greek. In Japanese, Practic is not translated as "skill", it is called as "Chiropractic".
When D.D. Parmer adjusted the slip down for backbone of patient having hearing problem in 1895, Chiropractic was the beginning to discover that patient's hearing could be recovered accidentally. World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) joined with 65 countries is a group who gets affiliated with WHO. Now, chiropractic is authorized by healthcare law among 27 countries in the world and status of chiropractors are being guaranteed as primary healthcare doctor, also, healthcare insurance can be applied to the for chiropractics. In these countries, diagnosis and X-ray photography practices can be allowed. 
University of chiropractic teaches student for 5 years (more than 4,000 hours) with full-time schooling system and has international education standard. Upon graduation of the university, doctor or bachelor of chiropractic is awarded from the university.

There are chiropractic universities, 16 in U.S.A, 2 in Canada, 2 in Australia, 1 in UK, 1 in France, 2 in South Africa, 1 in Denmark, 1 in Japan, 1 in New Zealand, 1 in Mexico and 1 in Korea. The qualification can be obtained in English, French, Japanese and Spanish. (Refer to RMIT school materials). There are many sort of general therapy in Japan. Acupressure is performed with thumb acupressure for soft tissue and muscle by acupressure mentor. Acupuncture and moxa cautery is Chinese using puncture and moxa by acupuncture and moxibustion mentor. Bonestting developed from Judo deals with bone fracture, sprain, dislocation as well as external injury and it is performed by Judo mentor. Chiropractic is scientific born in U.S.A for joints and nerves and the therapy is performed by chiropractor. Body regulation is folk remedy and has not been systematized yet. As chiropractic in Japan has not been authorized by healthcare law, the reimbursement by medical insurance has not been permitted. Although our chiropractic group is working for the Ministry of Health and Welfare to allow medical insurance apply to the , it is difficult to legislate it in law due to out of step with our group. (as of Jan, 2002).
The treatment fee is generally \4,000 to \6,000 range and the first medical examination fee is \2,000 to \4,000 range.
